Abstracts & Posters

All abstracts and full-text articles must be submitted using ROSA. ROSA stands for Responsive Online System for Acta Horticulturae submission and review, and is the fully integrated and tailor-made ISHS online system for efficient and timely processing of abstract submission and full-text paper review.

The online tool integrates with the ISHS membership and user database and allows both conveners as well as editors with the assistance of their reviewers to ensure a timely processing of the submission and review processes with the aim of assisting them in reducing the time-frame required to carry out the review and assessment tasks.

Abstract Guidelines

  1. Title of your abstract
Do not use all uppercase to enter the title of your abstract.

  2. Select the method of preference for your presentation: oral, poster or no  preference.
The Editorial Committee reserves the right to decide on the final presentation method: oral or poster.

  3. Enter the abstract: no more than 300 words – try to use plain text only and keep formatting to a minimum.

Do not enter author details in the abstract field! Author details should be entered in the next stage.

  4. Provide relevant keywords.
Carefully consider the keywords to use ‐ do not simply repeat words from the abstract title only.
    Comma ‐ separate keywords.

  5. If at all required you may add some additional notes or remarks to the convener.
In most cases there is no need for comments, just leave this field empty.
