Excursion

Route A:   Ratchaburi province (western part of Thailand)

  1. Coconut farm : Mr. Bavorn Salasawat, a farm owner, has grown aromatic coconut in the area of 16,000 square meters. The main cultivar is coconut fruit with three lobes at the end of fruit called ‘Kon Chip’

  2. NC Coconut Co,.Ltd. : Various processed products from coconut areproduced such as coconut milk jelly, coco cup jelly, coco jelly fruit (mixed with longan or kiwi or trawberry), coco pudding, cold pressed aromatic coconut oil etc.  “Find your energy with us” is the  slogan that you can taste 100% pure natural aromatic coconut water with GMP certified.

  3. Thai Orchids Co.,Ltd. : one of the leading orchid exporter. The area of up to 320,000 square meters  is divided into 11 zones to grow various plant varieties, inparticular  Dendrobium and Mokara

  4. Udom Garden, Damnoen Saduak district : located near the floating market. Leafy ornamental plants  are grown  in long plots, using coconut coir as a planting medium. To maximize space, small pot plants are arranged vertically, one on top of the other, effectively creating green walls.

 

Route B:   Chonburi and Rayong province (eastern part of Thailand)

  1. Kubota Farm, Ban Bueng, Chonburi province. The farm creates Kubota’s modern agriculture experience in the ASEAN region by using integrated agricultural innovations to raise the bar to more efficient and cost-effective precision agriculture as well as sustainable income management to lead the region ASEAN to a new generation of agricultural proudly. The area of farm is 19.52 Ha.

  2. HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Herb Garden, PTT Rayong. The garden was established in 1984 by the state-owned  PTT Public Company Limited, Thailand’s oil and gas company.  It was the first garden for medicinal herbs in Thailand. The company set up the greenhouse, herb garden, gathers and plants various herbs, with the main objective to conserve and develop knowledge of herbs for future generations.
